The famous Irish poker pro player Roy "The Boy" Brindley, who was CardPlayer Europe contributor for many years, defeated William Thorson, Ram Vaswani and Tony G to claim victory. He took $122,000 prize and the title "Betfair Poker Masters of Europe Champion". This victory was his first in five years in poker tournaments shown on TV.

After his win, Brindley said he was really enjoying the tournament and that he was here because of the play, not for the money. Everyone, who want to see the final table of the Betfair Poker Masters of Europe tournament, can watch in on SKY Sports on May, 29th.
