Event 7 Of The WSOP Went To Burt Boutin

Author: Texas Hold Em
Boutin is of the players, who cannot hide their emotions, and if you have watched the final table on ESPN, you would have been noticed why. Maybe it's because he is drinking too many energy drinks.

The win at the WSOP Event #7 gave him the second bracelet from nine WSOP tournaments he have been played (the first bracelet he took was back in 2001). He endured 145 players, who re-bought 421 times to claim victory. He received $825,956 for this victory, of course the WSOP bracelet and some bragging rights.

Boutin defeated the 25-year-old Canadian professional player Erik Cajelais, who like his fellows Gavin Smith and Greg Mueller, finished second in the WSOP race for gold. The interesting fact is, that Cajelais entered the final table with $3,200,000 in chips, and Boutin - with $2,460,000. And the match lasted only six hands.

Boutin was maybe the most excited player this year to win a WSOP gold bracelet. He was hardly able to contain himself with the gold bracelet placed upon his wrist.
