The Nguyen Challenge Title Went To Kido Pham

Author: Texas Hold Em
Kido Pham became champion for the first time, after his won at the main event of the Scotty Nguyen Challenge last week. So far he had three World Poker Tour final table finishes.

There were only 91 players, but the Scotty Nguyen Challenge did pull in quite a few poker stars to its main event, so it was a little hard for Pham to win. Some of the pros, who competed for the main event were - Todd Brunson, Men "The Master" Nguyen, Tony Cousineau, Mike Matusow and more.

The final table was played by six players - Kido Pham, Nam Le, Mike Cordell, Ramiro Garcia, Terry Moore and Tony Cosineau. Pham was the chip leader, with approximately half of the chips on the table. The player who was closest to Pham in chips, was Le. But these this chips were quite a lot for the other players, so Pham earned $176,359 top prize and a gold bracelet.
